This describes software that I have developed, either solo or as part of a small team.

Each phase of my 57 year career (I am allegedly retired, at least from full-time employment) has been driven by curiosity. This first started with Ham Radio, then led to computer programming. It is lucky that this has often led to gainful employment.

My first job following my freshman year in Engineering at Northwestern University turned out to have large impact. It helped decide where to locate Fermilab. I didn't know this till many years later.

A foray into process control computers was at Bonnevile Power Administration (the 10:1 challenge) in Portland Oregon where IBM was assisting them in bring up their IBM 1800.

My first full-time job was at Telemed. It was the first commercial ECG analysis service. It started in 1969 and I was technically the first employee. It was particularly rewarding to work on something that directly benefited the health of people.

Towards the end of my days at Telemed, I discovered Compilers and my carreer took off in quite a new direction.
